CREST Volunteers
No Experience Necessary!
We are seeking volunteers to help people in Martin County. We need help in the following areas: Transportation (medical appts, near and far(gas card given to help with expenses), grocery store, social engagements, hair appts, errands, etc.) OR you could just make phone calls to engage in conversation. Yard work, light housekeeping and other needs. IF YOU have a morning, afternoon or all day…we could use your help to enrich the lives of others!
Please know that you are not bound to any day or time. If you only would like to volunteer on Thursdays and we call you and you are busy, that’s ok! We will call another volunteer.
Being a CREST Volunteer brings new friends, making a difference in the life of others and in your own life too. And a reward? A smile and thank you from someone who has just experienced help to live in their own home!
CREST volunteers provide all of the services described in Live at Home, being a Companion, and many more. Volunteer Orientation covers CREST policies, procedures and information to help build positive relations with the participant.
All volunteers undergo a background study and reference check. Becoming a CREST Volunteer is as easy as contacting the CREST office, filling out an application and talking with a CREST staff member.
